When we become Fire Adapted it means we acknowledge wildfire is a ‘when’ kind of reality, and we have systems in place that leave us flexible and able to survive.  

 

It means that we’ve done everything to make it as difficult as possible for fires to ignite, grow and spread. We can’t forget our community is in a High Risk area. 

 

While we’re also considered Low Incidence, that may change if we keep having these wildfires.
